For SEC Consult, the event is a cornerstone of our annual schedule, as well as a highlight for countless IT security professionals eager to connect, learn, and exchange insights.
This year, our team arrived fully prepared and enthusiastic, eager to engage with visitors. Our booth - shared with our colleagues from Eviden - was designed to foster personal connections and offer in-depth discussions on cybersecurity challenges. Judging by the high visitor turnout and the enthusiastic response, it’s clear that we addressed pressing needs in the IT landscape, providing actionable solutions to today’s cybersecurity issues. Personal interactions with attendees allowed us to better understand their specific needs, an opportunity we value greatly.

Ransomware Wargame Workshop – An Interactive Success!
One of the highlights of our participation this year was our “Ransomware Wargame” workshop held on day two. The response was overwhelming: over 100 participants, incredible feedback, and numerous thought-provoking conversations. We were particularly honored to welcome Carsten Meywirth, Director of Cybercrime at the Federal Criminal Police Office, as our special guest to open the workshop!
Guided by our SEC Defence expert Christopher Golitschek, participants were immersed in a simulated cyber crisis, navigating tough decisions and exploring solutions to defend a fictitious organization under attack. This hands-on experience provided invaluable insights that would prove essential in real-world ransomware scenarios.
