All employees and managers have their own individual needs and ideas about what constitutes a good workplace. It is not easy to reconcile all this. That's why it's also important to have an objective view from the outside to identify opportunities for improvement and implement appropriate measures.
That's the reason we regularly take part in the Great Place to Work® Institute's evaluation. It asks employees how they perceive the company's credibility, fairness, respect, pride, and team spirit. In addition, the Culture Audit Management Survey© enables our managers to evaluate the measures taken to date and, if necessary, to adapt them. We are happy that we once again have been certified as a "Great Place to Work" in Austria and Germany.

Trust and personal responsibility go hand in hand
Cybersecurity is a challenging area of IT in the best sense of the word. It offers our colleagues highly varied job descriptions. However, working for data protection and IT security also requires sufficient scope for independent and solution-oriented work. To create a working environment that makes this possible, honest feedback is important. If we know what our employees perceive as particularly positive and what we still need to work on, we can implement the appropriate measures.

Team spirit and respect for successful cooperation
Strong team cohesion, open and respectful communication, and the opportunity to use one's own strengths in a targeted manner are important prerequisites for the company's success - and reasons why SEC Consult Germany was once again able to achieve a top position in this year's ranking of the best employers.
Markus Robin, Managing Director SEC Consult Germany, also points out how important it is for the company to be at the top in the competition for the best professionals: "To be able to serve our customers in the best possible way, we need the best cybersecurity experts and absolute communication professionals. We therefore also rely heavily on training and development opportunities and want to create the best possible conditions for the needs of our employees with flexible working hours."
Another indication that both SEC Consult Germany and SEC Consult Austria have succeeded in this is the award as "Top Company 2023" by KUNUNU. Only about 5 percent of employees are awarded as Top Company by the rating platform and thanks to an overall rating of four out of five possible stars and a recommendation rate of 100 percent in the last two years, we are in the top field as an employer.
